Victor Osimhen has opened his Europa League account with a first-half brace in Galatasaray ‘s home game against Tottenham Hotspur.
Osimhen restored Gala’s lead after 19-year-old Will Lankshear, in the 18th minute, cancelled out Yunus Akgun’s early goal for the hosts.
The Forward on loan from Napoli struck his first goal in the 31st minute courtesy a Dries Mertens’ assist.
Eight minutes later the two combined again for Galatasaray’s third – Osimhen’s second – to close the half in a health position.
He now has three goals contribution in the UEL his season, having recorded a brace previously.
Spurs had only previously conceded one goal in three games played in the competition this season, and are now staring down the barrel of their forst defeat as well.
