The Libya MNT have begun preparations for their Africa Cup of Nations qualifying tie against Nigeria under their new coach, Nasser Al-Hadiri.
According to the Libya Al-Ahrar Channel, the Mediterranean Knights held their first training session on Monday in Tripoli.
Nasser Al-Hadiri named a 28-man squad for the double-header AFCON qualifiers last week. He will prune the squad to 23 players for the matches.
The Libyan contingent is expected to arrive in Abuja on October 7 before traveling to Uyo for the clash with Nigeria.
Currently sitting at the base of Group D with just one point after two games, Libya are three points behind leaders Nigeria.
The North Africans opened their campaign with a 1-1 draw against Rwanda on September 4 in Benghazi, before their narrow 2-1 away defeat to Benin Republic six days later.
