Libya Football Federation have parted ways with the Men’s National Team, head coach Milutin Sredojevic.
The Mediterranean Knights suffered a disappointing start to their 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifying campaign.
The team is winless after two matches in the series.
Libya’s troubles began with a 1-1 home draw against Rwanda’s Amavubi, followed by a 2-1 away loss to Benin Republic on matchday two.
This poor form prompted the LFF to take immediate action by relieving Sredojevic of his duties.
According to reports from the Libya Observer, the LFF is now looking to appoint a new coach before their crucial double-header against Nigeria next month.
The first leg is set to take place at the Godswill Akpabio International Stadium in Uyo, Nigeria, while the reverse fixture will be held in Tripoli.
