Nigerian forward Victor Boniface has been nominated for the Bundesliga Team of the Season.

Boniface was nominated along with Bayern Munich striker Harry Kane as well as Serhou Guirassy, Marvin Ducksch, Jonas Wind, and Niclas Füllkrug.

Others nominees are Omar Marmoush, Ermedin Demirović, Loïs Openda, and Deniz Undav.

The 23-year-old Nigerian is currently the joint-top scorer for Leverkusen in the Bundesliga with 11 goals – He also has five assists, despite missing three-month due to an adductor injury.

Victor Boniface played a significant role in Leverkusen’s record breaking campaign – he won four rookie player of the month awards during the season.

The Bundesliga Team of the Season will include one goalkeeper, four defenders, three midfielders, and three attackers.

Selection will be based on votes from fans, clubs, and experts.
