Ex international Henry Nwosu has urged the Super Eagles to go for victory in their second 2021 CAF African Cup of Nations qualifiers with Crocodiles of Lesotho on Sunday.

Nwosu lauds the team for their hard-fought 2-1 win over the Squirrels of the Benin Republic on Wednesday before he pointed that the team should be able to take care of their host Lesotho come Sunday.

He added that playing on the synthetic pitch and on an away soil isn’t an excuse for the team not to perform to their abilities.

“I just want to charge the Eagles to be ready for the game,”

“We must have Eagles that are ready physically and psychologically to face Lesotho. We have an edge over them and it is the reason why they were always afraid when they faced us back then.

“I don’t think the situation has changed but the Eagles must seize the opportunity and not give them breathing space just like they did against the Benin Republic which earned the required three points.”

The Gernot Rohr’s tutored side are first in the qualifying series Group L with three points from a game.
