Brown Ideye played 102 minutes on Thursday for Aris FC in the Europa League third round qualifying match, but the Greek side were eliminated by Molde despite winning 3-1; the Norwegian side progressed 4-3 on aggregate.
Ideye joined Aris FC this summer as a free agent and has been a constant feature for the club in the Europa League qualifiers.
The Forward started both legs of the qualifier against Molde, but failed to hit the target on both occasions, despite putting a good shift.
On Friday, the player posted a message of appreciation to the fans on social media.
“So Proud!!!! 🖤💛💪🏾⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Thanks to everyone for the amazing support last night..🙏🏾🙏🏾 ,” He captioned a picture of team in a huddle.

After a 3-0 defeat away in the first-leg, Aris FC came off the block firing on Thursday.
They raced to a 2-0 lead in the first half and by the 85th minute tied the aggregate.
The match then went into extra-time, and to the dismay of the home supporters, Molde struck a crushing blow.
Ivory Coast International Mathis Bolly scored in the 106th minute to give the visitors the away goal advantage.
Molde also had 26 year-old Nigerian forward Leke James and they next file out against Partizan in the Play-off round.
