Leicester City Vice-chairman, Aiyawatt Srivaddhanaprabha has assured the club will soon complete the deal for Nigeria International, Kelechi Iheanacho.

Iheanacho, 20, has not joined Manchester City on their pre-season tour a clear indication the striker will not be part of Pep Guardiola’s plans for next season.

However, the deal to ship the player out has not been struck with transfer rumors linking him to several club, but Leicester are considered the favorites to snap him up.

The Leicester vice-chairman Srivaddhanaprabha was quoted by @City_Watch giving his nod to the question of signing Iheanacho this summer.

He said, “If it happens, it will be soon.”
