Leicester City have appointed Craig Shakespeare on a permanent three-year deal but the news may not bode well for Super Eagles forward, Ahmed Musa.
Shakespeare replaced sacked Claudio Ranieri in February and took the club as far as the quarter-final of the Champions League, where they lost to Spanish side Atlético Madrid 2-1 on aggregate.
The 53-year-old , who was handed temporary charge of the club, also helped the Foxes’ avoid the drop in the EPL, finishing in 12th spot.

However, while the appointment of Shakespeare brought some fresh perspective to the team, it meant disaster for Ahmed Musa.
The 24-year-old saw less game time and played only 133 minutes in 17 matches across all competitions.
Musa’s future at the King Power Stadium was further complicated following news of a domestic issue with his then wife.
The 21-year-old was questioned by the police after complaints from neighbours.
It is not clear what Shakespeare’s transfer plans will be in the Summer, but for now Musa’s attention is turned to the national team and helping Nigeria pick three points against South Africa in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
He scored two goals against the Hawks of Togo in a friendly, and will hope to continue on that run of form.
