Leeds United will sanction the sale of Junior Firpo, should they sign Nigerian full-back Ola Aina, according to reports.
Several reports in the UK have linked Leeds with Ola Aina, and the Nigeria is touted as the primary target for the Jesse Marsch’s side this January.
Firpo arrived the club from Barcelona, but has struggled to impress, with the club willing to let him leave.
“Leeds United are being strongly linked with a move for Torino and Nigeria left-back Ola Aina ahead of the January transfer window – and if Leeds do make their move for the defender, then surely it is time to go, for Junior Firpo,” News Leeds wrote.
Aina is entering the final six months of his contract with Torino and negotiations over a new deal hasn’t progressed.
Leeds United, have now reignited their interest in the Nigeria international, with West Ham United, Fulham and Crystal Palace also showing interests.
Aina has enjoyed playing time this season, featuring 10 Serie A games so far this season before the World Cup break.
