Italian Serie A Club Lazio and Hatayspor have reached an agreement in principle for the transfer of Nigerian international Fisayo Dele-Bashiru.

The deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days, following the approval of Lazio’s new coach, Marco Baroni.

Final details of the agreement and contract are currently being resolved.

Dele-Bashiru, who garnered interest from several European clubs following an impressive debut season in Turkey, is set to join Lazio for a reported fee of €8 million.

The 23-year-old midfielder joined Hatayspor on a free transfer last summer after leaving Sheffield Wednesday.

His performance has quickly made him a sought-after player, leading to this impending high-profile transfer.

He made his senior debut for Nigeria against South Africa in a 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifier.
