Newly named Vice President of the Nigeria Boxing Federation Lukman Lawal has stated that he is ready for his new role as Vice President of the board following the impeachment of erstwhile Vice President Rtd. Gen Dr. Joseph Ayeni by the board on Wednesday 16th December 2020.
Lawal who was until his ratification by the board an athlete representative in the board of the Nigeria Boxing Federation stressed that having regular competition will be the key contribution he would be proposing to the board of the NBF.
“I’m ready for it, everything belongs to God, I can’t say the position is too big for me so God will lead me. We suppose to have more competition so that the boxers will be very fit after been out for so long.”
