Coventry City head coach, Frank Lampard has spoken positively about Frank Onyeka, saying the midfielder has settled in well since joining the club on loan in January.
Lampard described Onyeka as a quiet and humble personality off the pitch, noting that his attitude has made it easy for him to integrate into the squad and quickly adapt to his new environment.
“He has settled in very well. He’s very nice, humble, and quiet off the pitch, but he’s training really well with the group. Because of who he is and the quality he brings, it has been very easy for him to integrate, and that’s a big positive for us.”

The Coventry boss also highlighted the unique qualities Onyeka adds to the team, explaining that the midfielder offers a different option in the centre of the pitch.
“The way he has come in has helped the squad. He brings a different profile of midfield player to our team in terms of breaking up play, his physical capacity and how he moves the ball.
“He brings a lot of quality. Not that we don’t already have it, but Frank gives us different options.”
Lampard declined to give a clear indication on Onyeka’s involvement in upcoming matches, revealing that the midfielder is currently attending to a personal matter as his wife is close to giving birth.
Onyeka joined Coventry City on loan in January, with the move set to become an obligation to buy if the club secures promotion at the end of the season.

Coventry have endured a difficult run of form, failing to win their last three matches, losing two and drawing one.
Onyeka was an unused substitute in their most recent match, a goalless draw against Oxford United, and is still awaiting his debut.
The Nigerian midfielder will be hoping to make his first appearance for Coventry City when they face Championship leaders Middlesbrough on Monday, February 16.
