Ladan Bosso Promoted, NFF Searches for New Flying Eagles Coach

The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has declared the Men’s U20 National Team head Coach role open. This follows the promotion of Ladan Bosso, the former head coach, to the U23s.
Bosso has been in charge of the team since 2020 and led Nigeria to the 2023 FIFA U20 World Cup quarter-finals. He will now focus on preparing the U23 team for the 2028 Olympic Games.
The Nigerian U23 team has historically won gold, silver, and bronze medals at the Olympics.
Bosso is expected to end Nigeria’s Olympic qualification drought and ensure the transition of players through the ranks.
The search for a new U20 coach will commence with an open application process. The team is expected to resume training for the WAFU tournament in two months.
