Sudan head coach, Kwesi Appiah has expressed confidence ahead of his side’s crucial CHAN Group D clash against Nigeria.
Speaking about the team’s preparations, the Ghanaian tactician emphasized that everything is going well, claiming his side are ready to take on Nigeria.
The 65 year concluded his statement by saying they are no injury concerns.
“So far, preparation has gone really well,” Appiah said. “Our last game against Congo didn’t go entirely our way, but now we have the opportunity to turn the tables.”
Training has been solid, and fortunately, we have no injury concerns. The boys are locked in — we’re focused on playing to our strengths.” He added
Appiah isn’t new to high profile fixtures. He helped Sudan qualify for the 2025 African Cup of Nations at the expense of Ghana and held Senegal to a goalless draw in March in the World Cup qualifiers.
