Kwara United begins preparation for next season today

NPFL side Kwara United FC is kick off their preparations for the next season Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL)  with a closed camping in Abuja on Nov. 5 (Monday).

The Coach of the United team, Abubakar Bala, made this known to the press on Sunday in Ilorin.

 

The former Niger Tornadoes coach said the decision to have a closed camping is to keep the players focused on the coming season, to maintain their fitness and exposed them tactics them to the style of play and tactics.

 

Bala also confirmed the Afonja Warriors will participate in the sixth edition of the Gold Cup Championship, a pre-season tournament in Ekiti, where they will face Cynosure FC, Kano Pillars, Phoenix, and Remo Stars.

 

Meanwhile, the likes of  Solomon Owello from Niger Tornadoes, Yusuf Mohamed from Kano Pillars, Sunday Emmanuel from Sunshine Stars and Buhari Jafar from Nasarawa United have been training with the Club with the aim of joining them ahead of next season.
