KRC Genk’s Sporting Director Dimitri De Conde has admitted the club isn’t short of offers for Cyriel Dessers, but insists the player will get his chance should he decide to stay put.
Dessers had a good spell with Feyenoord last season, the Forward finished as the top scorer in the Conference league.
Feyenoord had planned to exercise the purchase option of four million euros, but the Club couldn’t reach an agreement on personal terms with the 27 year-old.
In his last interview concerning his future, Dessers told www.brila.net that, he was willing to test himself in another league and build on his recent success.
While speaking with Belgian media, Conde confirmed the Attacker is wanted elsewhere, and he indicated that the Nigerian will get his chance to fight for the number one striking role with compatriot, Paul Onuachu.
Cyriel Dessers is currently on holiday after his involvement with the National team and is expected to resume pre season with Genk.
