Kida upbeat about Nigeria’s Basketball representation at the Tokyo Olympics

President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation Engr. Musa Kida is upbeat and exude strong optimism on Nigeria’s Basketball representation at the fast approaching Tokyo 2020 Olympics in Japan.

He made this remarks as the Federation presents both the Men and Women team who secured qualification for the games respectively.
Kida speaking in a chat gathered by www.brila.net said the prospects are very bright for Nigeria based on the quality of the teams, the players and technical crew that makes the team.
He also hinted that there will be string consideration for inclusion of home based players in the selection process and believes Nigeria will shock the world once again.
“So far the only team sports that have qualified to represent Nigeria at the Olympics.
”The prospects are even brighter with the technical crew that we have right now and with the players we intend to invite including the local players that play in the local league in Nigeria.
“We are going to have an array of very formidable team. We will perform, we will shock the world.” He concluded.
