Ranger of Enugu winger Kelvin Itoya is optimistic the Nigerian professional football league will return very soon after the current global pandemic.
The League was suspended indefinitely by the league organizers after matchday 25 in order to curb the widespread of the deadly coronavirus.
Clubs have since granted players and officials indefinitely break in order to be with their family at this difficult period.
While most of the players have been training on their own, and eagerly waiting for further directives from the Nigeria Football Federation and League Management Company, Itoya believes the wait will come to an end sooner and things will also turn well after this difficult period.
“I know things will turn out well after the Pandemic. And I’m praying that it will not be too long before we get back to the pitch” he said.
Itoya and his Rangers teammates are currently fourth on the league table before the season was suspended indefinitely, they have gathered 37 points from 24 matches so far.
