Kelechi Iheanacho Joins Sevilla

Sevilla FC has officially announced the signing of Nigerian forward Kelechi Iheanacho in the current transfer window.

Iheanacho completed his move to the La Liga side on Wednesday.

Upon his arrival Sevilla shared photos of Iheanacho on their X account, captioning the post: “Senior Man is here.”

The 27 year-old has agreed to a two-year contract with the club.

Iheanacho’s transfer to Sevilla marks his third professional club since beginning his career in 2014.

He previously played for Manchester City and Leicester City.

Joining Sevilla as a free agent following the expiration of his contract with Leicester City, Iheanacho left the Foxes after helping them secure promotion back to the Premier League.

During his time at Leicester, he scored 35 goals in 173 appearances and won the FA Cup, Community Shield, and Championship title.
