Enyimba FC goalkeeper Olufemi Kayode has stated that he is excited to be back in action with the People’s Elephants after helping the team record a 2-1 win against Lobi stars on Wednesday in Aba.
Kayode who is returning to fist team duties once again after losing his first team spot this season to Super Eagles goalkeeper John Noble following a lengthy lay off due to injury and few cameo appearances since his return to fitness told brila.net that he is excited to have helped the team with a win after the team’s last draw at home.
“I feel very happy coming back to action and again coming back with victory and 3points so it’s a thing of joy for me but it doesn’t stop here because we are going for an away game again in Kano so I’m so happy to be back in the team. And I will keep doing my best to see that the team keeps winning too. It was a very happy day for we all as a team.”
