Kano Pillars head coach, Usman Abdallah has expressed his excitement over the return of forward Mustapha Salisu to the team.
Salisu missed the club’s first two matches of the season due to suspension, during which the team secured four points.
In a statement to the club’s media, Abdallah emphasized the importance of Salisu’s energy and work ethic to the squad, noting that his presence had been greatly missed.
“We missed him for the first two matches, and his energy and hard work are vital to our team,” Abdallah said. “We’re glad to have him back.”
With Salisu’s return, Kano Pillars look to build on their solid start to the season which will continue today as they face last season’s league runners up, Remo Stars at 4PM.
