Kano Pillars and Katsina United have secured their immediate promotion to the Nigeria Premier League.

The clubs were relegated last season and they are back in one year after finishing first and second in the NNL playoff Northern conference with six points.

Katsina United defeated Kano Pillars 1-0 in a their final at the Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba.

The result was good enough to take them both to NPFL as DMD FC defeated EFCC 2-0 in the other game,

They joined Sporting Lagos and Heartland who secured promotion from the Southern Conference.
