Kano Pillars Confirms Signing Of Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa

Super Eagles Captain Ahmed Musa has completed his much-awaited transfer to Nigeria professional football league side Kano Pillars.

 

The transfer was confirmed by the club in a statement released through their social media handle Tuesday Evening.

 

The 28-year-old will put pen to paper for a deal that will see him spend the remainder of the season with the Sai Masu Gida.

 

Musa previously played for the Pride of Kano in 2009 where he ended the season as the top scorer in the Nigeria Professional Football League with 18 goals before moving to VVV-Venlo in the Netherlands.

 

“Ahmad Musa is our own and Pillars FC will continue to support him anytime and anywhere he found himself,” Kano Pillars media manager Riliwanu Malikawa said.

 

Musa will now return to active club football since leaving Saudi Arabia’s premier league side Al Nassr last October.

 

Ahmed Musa would be unveiled by Governor of Kano state, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje before the commencement of the second stanza of the league.

 

The four-time Nigeria Professional Football League Champions are currently leading the log alongside Kwara Utd with 36 points each from 19 matches.
