Coach of NPFL side Kano Pillars FC Ibrahim Musa has shifted attention immediately to the team’s next and final home fixture to Delta Force after winning 1-0 away to Yobe stars yesterday to come to within a win of a guaranteed top two finish.
Musa speaking to www.brila.net said there is no time to celebrate the away victory which necessitated the immediate commencement of planning and strategy to the club’s next fixture at home so as to get the game out of the way against the inform Delta Force once and for all.
“I thank Almighty Allah we win Yobe at Yobe and also appreciate the way our boys played the match because they have confidence now to play very good football.
And immediately when we finished the Yobe match in Damaturu, we started planning the Delta Force match at the hotel. We take that match as a final match and we have already started the match.”
Kano pillars sit second behind Akwa United in group B of the NPFL table and will with a win in their next game qualify for the Super Six.
