Super Eagles winger Samuel Kalu was on target in his first pre-season game for French side Girondins Bordeaux who lost 1-3 to Turkish champions Galatasaray on Sunday.
Kalu came on as a second-half substitute and replaced Jimmy Briand in the 73rd minute of the encounter.
The former Gent of Belgium man went on to net Bordeaux’s only goal of the match a minute after his coming on from the bench, after receiving a pass from Raoul Bellanova.
However the goal wasn’t enough to lift his club who had conceded three goals earlier on, former Liverpool forward Ryan Babel, Atalay Babacan, and Adem Buyuk scored for Galatasaray.
Meanwhile, Former Flying Eagles and Enyimba defender Valentine Ozornwafor was also on parade for Galatasaray in the encounter.
The Poland 2019 defender replaced the Ryan Babel in the 88th minute for his second pre-season appearance since joining the Club.
