The duo of Samuel Kalu and Tyrone Ebuehi has been ruled out of Super Eagles World Cup qualifiers against Cape Verde.
The two players traveled with the squad for the match, but they tested positive to Covid-19 and they will now sit out of the game.
The news is a massive blow to Rohr who will be without at least eight first-team players for the game, due to strict restrictions from the Premier League.
Kalu and Ebuehi are currently in isolation as they continue preparation for the important encounter slated for 3 pm Nigerian time today at the Estádio Municipal Adérito Sena.
The Super Eagles observed their first training session on Monday, evening and it lasted for 45 minutes.
The Super Eagles will take on Cape Verde on Tuesday, September 7, 2021, from 3 pm (Cape Verde Time) which will be 5 pm Nigeria time.
