Coach Kabiru Dogo has left his position as the head coach of Sunshine Stars of Akure on Monday.
Dogo vacated the role after the expiration of his contract with the Southwest giants.
The former Nasarawa United boss reportedly held a discussion with the top officials of the Ondo State Football Agency ODSFA and informed them of his desire to move on.
“It’s been a great privilege and opportunity working with the Ondo State Government, through the management of Sunshine Stars,” Dogo was quoted to have said.
Dogo who signed for the Owena Whales back in 2018 after ending his five years association with Nasarawa United, said he’s looking forward to the possibility of working elsewhere.
“My contract with Sunshine Stars of Akure expired last season 2019/2020 and I am ready to work elsewhere in other to gain more experience and get exposure
He’s now expected to replace Gbenga Ogunbote who also left Lobi Stars last week.
