Gent Coach, Hein Vanhaezebrouck has refused to rule out Gift Orban and his strike partner, Hugo Cuypers leaving the club before the end of the season.

Orban and Cuypers were linked with transfers away from Gent before the end of the transfer summer transfer window, but the club did not receive substantial bids for them.

“It is not because a player is abroad that nothing can happen,” Vanhaezebrouck told Het Laatste Nieuws.

“Everything can be arranged remotely these days. And above all: everything is possible in football.

However, we do not feel any nervousness or any transfer action.”

Vanhaezebrouck also confirmed the Club has not received right offers for the star strikers.

“Whether I have received any guarantees that Hugo or Gift will stay? No, I have not had any contact with the board all week. I have been able to fully focus on what is happening on the field. Look, there is no panic, and there is are no guarantees.”
