Portugal and Juventus attacker, Cristiano Ronaldo is lending his voice to the global campaign; on social media, for a course of action on the three-week old inferno in the Amazon Rain Forest.
The Amazon forest produces about 20% of the world’s oxygen, and is often called “the planet’s lungs”, but the fire which has engulfed a vast area.
Per the UNO’s World Meteorological Organization, the smoke from the blaze is reaching the Atlantic coast and São Paulo.

In his tweet on Thursday Cristiano Ronaldo insists on an action plan to “save out planet.”

According to the World Wildlife Fund, if it is irrevocably damaged, it (Amazon) could start emitting carbon instead — the major driver of climate change.
