Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is prepared to re-sign former star player Philippe Coutinho, according to Express Sport.

Coutinho, who departed Anfield for Barcelona for a transfer fee of £142 million back in January 2018, has had a horrid time since.

The Brazilian was loaned out by Barcelona to Bayern Munich this season, which highlights just how badly the move to Spain has been for Coutinho.

Liverpool have been linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen’s Kai Havertz in various reports. According to the Express, he remains at the top of Klopp’s wishlist.

However, if Bayer Leverkusen’s asking price is too much, Klopp would be prepared to bring back Coutinho, as he is ultimately looking for an attacking midfielder.

Barcelona have told Coutinho he can leave in the summer for £77 million.
