Joshua continues intense training ahead of Parker fight

Anthony Joshua has continued with his very intense training camp ahead of the March 31st crucial fight with Joseph Parker.

With the mercury plunging, it would have been no surprise to see the heavyweight champion of the world head to warmer climes in this final month before he faces Joseph Parker.

But he remains in place at his Sheffield training camp and posted a picture of his latest sparring session, which took place in a sandpit of all places. Far from a tropical beach, Joshua appeared to revel in the bleak conditions.

The 28-year-old is leaving nothing to chance despite being the overwhelming favourite to beat Parker at the Principality Stadium in Cardiff on March 31, which will be just 11 months after his classic encounter against Wladimir Klitschko.

But while Parker admits Joshua did well to beat the legendary Ukrainian, he believes the Wembley showdown exposed a significant weakness in his make-up, which the New Zealand fighter is ready to take advantage of.
