Maja suffered an ankle ligament injury, during Saturday’s league game against Bristol City. He picked up the injury few minutes to the end of the game which ended goalless at Ashton Gate. According to updates from West Brom, the 24-year-old could miss up to ten matches. The player is expected to start his rehabilitation with club’s medical staff could make return to first-team after November international break. Josh Maja has struggled for form since returning to English football following his exit from French side Girondins Bordeaux last summer. The former Sunderland and Fulham forward has made five appearances from the bench this season and he failed to score a goal.
