Ebubu Duru says he is delighted to start a new adventure with Rivers United after leaving Lobi Stars of Makurdi.
The former Dream Team VII defender joined the Pride of Rivers in a two-year contract, following the expiration of his contract with Lobi Stars.
The defender who spent four successful season with Lobi, is expected to help Rivers United challenge for the 2021-2022 Nigeria Professional Football League title and also CAF Champions League.

“I’m so happy to join Rivers United. It’s a good move for me. I’ve been with Lobi Stars for about four seasons and I gave them all my best.”
“With Lobi Stars, I played in the National team, CAF Champions League and other prestigious competitions. It’s painful to leave the Club, but I have to move on and face a new challenge.”
