The Japanese club side, Wednesday, announced Agu’s dismissal on their website. Shonan Bellmare decided to terminate the contract following the Player’s poor form and reoccurring injuries. The Nigerian international signed a two-year deal with Shonan Bellmare last summer, but has made only three appearances for them since. He played just 26 minutes for Shonan Bellmare against Thank Kuriyama on June 6, coming on as a second half substitute. The 30-year-old has now failed to perform in his last two clubs, and have left them in acrimonious circumstances. The talented midfielder spent most of his career in Portugal, where he featured for Porto, Vitoria Setubal, and Vitoria Guimaraes. He also had a brief spell with Turkish Super Lig side Busarspor and Spanish second division side Fuenlabrada.
