Jamilu Collins makes Bundesliga Debut in 3-2 loss to Leverkusen

Super Eagles left back Jamilu Collins played all 90minutes as his club Paderborn 07 lost 3-2 to Bayern Leverkusen on Saturday.

The Nigerian left back who was making his Bundesliga debut at the Bayern Arena could not help his side gained valuable point away from the game.

 

Leverkusen took the lead in the 10th minutes through Leon Bailey, before Sven Michel equalised for the visitors five minutes later.

 

German midfielder Kai Havertz restored Leverkusen’s lead with delightful finish after 19th minutes.

 

Paderbon responded again through Streli Mamba five minutes before half hour , as both went into the half time break all squared.

 

Kevin Volland scored the winner for the home side in the 69th minutes to condemned the Steffen Baumgart’s to their first defeat of the season.

 

Paderbon will hope secure their first three points of the season when they host Freiburg in the second league game next weekend.
