Enyimba and Super Eagles player Anayo Iwuala has urged players in the Nigeria Professional Football League to continue to work hard and not relent stressing that his call-up and subsequent caps for the Nigeria senior national team are clear indications that domestic league players have a chance in the Super Eagles.
Iwuala speaking in a chat with brila.net said he has his own story and he believes others can equally do the same and more with the national team.
He also revealed that the talks and encouragement from the national team coach Gernot Rohr will help him a lot as he returns to his club side.
“I just have to say to them that they should keep working hard, keep believing everybody have their own story.
Everybody’s story will come differently not similarly, they just have to keep the good works going definitely. Those talks help a lot, they pass some good message, those words are very meaningful to me.”
