They have Nicolas Pepe, but Arsenal aren’t ready to allow Alex Iwobi leave or leave on a cheap after the Gunners rejected a £30 million bid tabled by Everton.
According to reports in England, Everton’s opening offer for Iwobi “understood to be an initial £25m with the rest made up of add-ons,” per Adrian Kajumba [Mail Sport].
The Toffees are now expected to return with an improved bid as they attempt to land a new attacker before Friday’s 5pm deadline.
While it appears Arsenal are holding out for more – the 23 year-old’s market value is put at €25 million – Manager Unai Emery may not be keen on letting the Nigerian leave.
