Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi has stressed the importance of a speedy recovery for Fulham after their 2-1 defeat against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
Despite dominating the game and creating better chances, Marco Silva’s side lost at the Molineux, with the hosts scoring twice in the second half.
Iwobi did pull a goal back, but it wasn’t enough to salvage a point for the Cottagers.
Speaking on the result, Iwobi highlighted that Fulham failed to capitalize on the opportunities they created during the game.
“It feels like an opportunity missed, we had an opportunity to be clinical, but it wasn’t the case. They took their chances, and my goal at the end was a bit too late, “he told the club’s official website.
Also the midfielder underlined the team’s determination to bounce back swiftly from this defeat.
“We lost concentration and focus and we spoke about it after the game. We need to concentrate for the full ninety minutes. We can’t switch off at this stage, we go again.”
Alex Iwobi has five goals in 20 league appearances for Fulham this season.
