Nigerian midfielder Alex Iwobi is eagerly anticipating the start of the 2024/2025 English Premier League season.

In an interview with Standard News, Iwobi acknowledged the team’s inconsistency last season but expressed optimism for the upcoming campaign.

“I can’t wait to get the new season kicked off again,” Iwobi said. “With Fulham, we had a bit of an inconsistent season, but we know how good we are.

“When we were talking at the end of the season, we recognized the quality in the room and decided to push up the table. Everyone is ready to go.”

Iwobi, played 28 matches and scored 6 goals with seven assists for Fulham last term.
