Super Eagles midfielder, Alex Iwobi has made a comeback on social media after a brief absence.

The 27-year-old had deleted all his Instagram posts following criticism of his performance at the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, particularly after Nigeria’s 2-1 final defeat to Cote d’Ivoire.

Iwobi faced cyber bullying from some Nigerian fans, prompting him to temporarily step away from social media.

Despite the backlash, he received support from teammates, the Nigeria Football Federation, and Sports Ministry.

In his latest Instagram post, Iwobi shared a video offering his fans and followers a glimpse into his recent activities.

The video also featured a teaser of what seems to be his unreleased rap song. Several teammates, including William Troost-Ekong, Frank Onyeka, and Kenneth Omeruo, showed their support in the comment section.
