Alex Iwobi was instrumental in Everton’s first win of the season, setting up the winner against West Ham United at Goodison Park on Sunday.

Iwobi has now created three goals in his last four games for Frank Lampard’s men.

The victory over the Hammers ended a run of four consecutive draws for the Toffees, who are beginning to find their rhythm.

Voted man of the match, Iwobi said about the the game that, “We have been playing really well. The performances were good, it was just about getting the result and getting the win. It’s a great way to go into the international break.”

Iwobi’s super pass freed Neal Maupay who got his first goal in an Everton shirt, and sealed the win.

“I’m glad you remember! Anything I can do to create chances for my teammates, and I trust them to hit the back of the net and Neal was able to do that.”
