Everton Boss, Marco Silva says everybody is looking forward to summer signing, Alex Iwobi making his debut for the club, and could be handed minutes against Aston Villa this Friday.
Iwobi, who was a deadline day acquisition from Arsenal, was named in the matchday squad last weekend, but the winger was an unused substitute.
The Toffees will play their third game of the league season at Villa Park on Friday, and Silva has given the biggest hint yet about the Nigerian’s readiness.

“For sure he is looking forward for that, we all are looking forward also,” the Everton Boss said.
In June, Iwobi was on international duty with Nigeria at the AFCON in Egypt, and missed all pre-season; the more reason he will be eased into the team according to the Manager.
“But he started really late, just now is his second week working with the team, he didn’t do pre-season and, if you can, you have to take care with the situation and give him enough time to get fitter.
“But, of course, if you need him during the games he is able to help us, not for 90 minutes, but he’s getting better and, if I decide [to play him], he’ll be ready to help and to give the high quality that he has, I don’t have any doubts about that.”
