Super Eagles and Fulham attacking midfielder Alex Iwobi has opened up on the driving force behind his success under manager Marco Silva at Fulham

The Cottagers, who finished 13th in the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign with 13 wins from 38 matches, have shown remarkable improvement this season.

Under Silva’s guidance, Fulham currently sit in 8th place after 19 games, just two points behind Manchester City—a significant leap by their standards.

Iwobi has been instrumental to Fulham’s resurgence. The Nigerian international has enjoyed his most productive season yet, contributing to eight goals—five scored and three assisted.

He shares the honour of being the club’s top contributor with USMNT left-back Antonee Robinson.

Since Silva convinced Fulham to sign Iwobi from Everton two summers ago, the partnership has flourished.

“He gives everyone that love and pays attention to detail. He treats everyone the same – from the players to the people in the canteen and he always demands the best,” Iwobi told Daily Mail.
