Alex Iwobi was in action as Everton trashed Ukrainian side Dynamo Kyiv 3-0 at Goodison Park on Friday.
The Nigeria international put in a good shift to help Frank Lampard’s men record their second win of pre-season.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin opened the scoring in the fourth minute after connecting with James Tarkowski’s long-ball forward with a looping header that sailed past the goalkeeper.
New signing Paddy McNeil doubled the tally with a fine strike from the penalty area into the bottom corner.
The former Burnley winger made it 3-0 with a clean header, thanks to an assist from fellow debutant Vinagre.
Everton kick-off their season at home to manager Frank Lampard’s former club Chelsea on Saturday August 6.
