The first vice president of the Nigeria football federation, Seyi Akinwunmi has stated that the Federation is ready to step up with their game and also ensure there is harmony between the Super Eagles backroom crew.
Speaking with brila.net after a meeting with the Minister of Sport stated that, they had sorted out some of the challenges bedeviling the team and some of the conditions raised by the Minister have also been looked into.
He added that the federation will ensure the coach takes a stronger look at the domestic league and be at the matches – the Amaju-led NFF will also look at the key performers’ indicators for the Coach going forward.
“Nobody is happy with what happened in Benin and in Freetown as well, but we had agreed that time as come where the ministry and the NFF need to come together to ensuring Nigeria football gets to the next height.
“We are doing a lot now, to ensure there is a harmonious relationship in the backroom, and with the Coach and also to strengthen the back room of the Coach on and off the pitch.
