Super Eagles defender Olisa Ndah has provided an update on his recovery, revealing that while progress is steady, he is unsure when he will return to action.
Ndah sustained a tibia fracture during Orlando Pirates’ league match against Polokwane City in October.
Initially deemed a minor setback, the injury turned out to be more severe, sidelining the Nigerian international for the rest of the year.
In an exclusive chat with Brila.net, Ndah shared insights into his mental battle and commitment to staying positive since the setback.
“With the injury, at this point, I’m trying to be positive as much as I can.
I’m taking each day one at a time and trying to be patient with myself because It’s been very frustrating mentally.”
Despite the challenges, Ndah remains optimistic about his rehabilitation process
“I’m starting rehab in a couple of weeks, and everything is looking positive so far. I just try to stay focused and hopeful.”
The 26-year-old, however, refrained from setting a timeline for his return, “Right now, I can’t give an estimated time for my return, but hopefully, I’ll be back as soon as possible.”
While there’s no confirmed date for his comeback, fans will be eager to see Ndah back in action, bolstering both Orlando Pirates and the Super Eagles.
