Nigerian striker Toluwalase Arokodare says signing for FC Cologne of Germany is a dream come true and he’s looking forward to helping the team.
German Bundesliga side, FC Koln, confirmed the signing of the 19-year-old from Latvian top division Valmiera FC on Friday.
The ganging forward scored 15 goals in 16 matches for Valmiera in this season’s Latvian Virsliga and attracted interest from some big teams across Europe.
Arokodare said delighted to join the German side and also playing in one of the biggest leagues in the world.
“For me, it is a dream come true. I have always wanted to play in the Bundesliga. For FC, I want to score many goals and develop myself further. I’m really looking forward to it,” he said.
