Nigerian forward Victor Osimhen is convinced that he made the right decision to stay put at Napoli this season.
Osimhen has been in excellent form for Napoli since arriving from Lille Metropole three years ago.
Several sides have been monitoring the player, including Arsenal, Bayern Munich, Barcelona Newcastle, and in recent times Manchester United.
United reportedly offered Cristiano Ronaldo plus €80m for the Nigerian international, but the offer was immediately knocked back by the Partenopei.
Osimhen later put the stories on his future to bed, stating that, he’s not ready to leave Napoli for any other side at the moment.
And speaking after helping Napoli to beat Liverpool 4-1 on Wednesday night, Osimhen said, he made the right decision to remain in Naples.
“Obviously, in very happy here in Naples, I feel great love from the people of Napoli. This is my third season, so It was the right decision to stay here ”
In 67 appearances for Napoli, he’s been directly involved in 40 goals, scoring 30 and assisting 10 more.
