Ishaq Rafiu aims to finish the season on a good note, following his debut for the Super Eagles of Nigeria.
Ishaq is enjoying a fantastic season with Nigeria Professional Football League leaders Rivers United and the impressive form earned him an invitation to the senior national team of Nigeria, the Super Eagles for the just-concluded tour of the United States.
The young winger, however, made his debut for the three-time African Champions against Mexico but was an unused substitute in the second game against Ecuador.
“It was indeed a dream come through to represent Nigeria with lots of memories that will remain evergreen.” He said via his social media handle.
“Now, it’s time to focus on the NPFL and finished the good job we have started with Rivers United FC and chase the top scorer’s gong.” He concluded.
Ishaq Rafiu has scored 14 goals for Rivers United this season.
