Former Super Falcons coach Ismaila Mabo has urged the Nigeria Football Federation to dump Swedish Coach Thomas Dennerby for local coaches who have the capacity and the necessary coaching badges.

In an exclusive interview with brila.net, Mabo said Dennerby should be given the boot and the NFF should consider giving the job to a Falcons veteran that had already done the needful to be a coach to handle the team.

”Dennerby was given free hand to handle the team, so he must be held responsible for the team ouster from the ongoing FIFA WC.

“ Let the NFF give the job to a former super falcons player, those that are foundational members of the team, that had done enough training on coaching to handle the team and also the other age-grade national teams in the country, I believe they will do well ”. Mabo told brila.net.
